Bilal Eşkil; “Dünyada çelik yapı sistemlerinin kullanımının ülkelerin gelişmişlik oranlarıyla paralel olarak arttığını görüyoruz. Bu yapı sistemi farkındalık düzeyi yüksek toplumlarda daha çok tercih ediliyor. Japonya, Avustralya, Yeni Zelanda, Amerika, İngiltere, Kanada ve Fransa bu yapı sistemini tercih eden en önemli ülkelerin başında gelmektedir. Japonya’da çelik yapı kullanımı %80’lerde, Yeni Zelanda’da %70’lerde, Amerika ve Avrupa’da %40’larda. Türkiye’de ise çelik yapı kullanım oranı %5 civarındadır. Dünyada çelik kullanım oranları 1994’ten bugüne kadar 4 kat artmıştır. Önümüzdeki yıllarda da artacağı, yapılan analizlerde görülmektedir. Dünya Çelik Birliği (WSA) rakamlarına göre Türkiye’de çelik tüketimi 2020 yılında 29,5 milyon ton seviyesine yükselmiş ve 2000 yılında dünyanın 17. çelik üreticisiyken 2020 yılında dünyada 7. Avrupa’da ise 1. olmuştur.” de
